Early Ford v-8 Club of America Regional Group #115  is a Texas chapter of the Early Ford V-8 Club of America formed in 1982 by people interested in Ford Motor Company cars that run the original “flathead” V-8s.  We have monthly meetings (fourth Sunday) and other events, including cruises and tours throughout the year.

Ownership of an Early Ford V-8 is not a requirement for membership. If you have an interest in old Fords and a desire to have some fun, you will feel welcome here.

Welcome V-8 Fans!
If this is your first visit to our site, it is probably because you have an interest in Ford flathead engines that were introduced in 1932, and continued in production through 1953 in Fords, Mercurys and Lincolns of that era. There is no doubt that this great engine has made a big come-back in recent years due to the nostalgia the car collector hobby continues to provide. Whether you’re into the original cars, or the hot rods of the ‘50s, nothing has the look, or sound of a finely tuned flathead V-8!

Maybe you had one back in the day, or are younger, and inherited one from a relative recently and want to know more about it. Either way, you’ll fit right in. If you live in the Dallas area, and would like to hang out, have fun, and learn more about the fabulous flathead, we would love to have you as a member, or at least have you join us to see what fun we have with our cars, and each other throughout the year. While owning an early Ford V-8 is not a requirement of membership, once you join us and ride in them with us, it won’t be long before you start looking for one of your own! We can help you with that too, as well as with a huge amount of knowledge on how to keep them running, soup them up, and work on them yourself.

Our monthly newsletters are posted on here each month so you can find out when and where we are meeting around the Metroplex. Come join us! You’ll be glad you did!

Our Mission

The primary purpose of the Dallas Regional Group of the Early Ford V8 Club is to preserve and authentically restore vehicles manufactured by the Ford Motor Company from 1932 through 1953. We recognize the benefit of minor modifications to enhance vehicle safety and thus welcome cars that are not completely stock.

The National Club and Regional Groups recognize the vehicles listed below:
  • Ford Automobiles and Trucks
  • Lincoln and Mercury Automobiles
  • Vehicles built from 1932 - 1953 utilizing a chassis and running gear manufactured by the Ford Motor Company.
  • Any vehicle manufactured by the Ford Motor Company throughout the world for the model years 1932 through 1953.
